TrainDL presentation during teacher seminar at Vilnius University

Just before the new year, a one-day seminar for teachers was held at Vilnius University in Lithuania. Teachers from various schools of Lithuanian cities (Klaipėda, Kretinga, Ukmergė, Vilnius) participated. During the seminar, the TrainDL project team (Professor Valentina Dagienė; Vaida Masiulionytė-Dagienė) had the opportunity to present the project and introduce teachers to the teaching of artificial intelligence (AI) and data literacy in primary schools. The topic of artificial intelligence was of interest, and after the seminar several schools requested the team to come to teach and learn more about AI and data literacy.

In addition to the presentation of the TrainDL project team, the seminar also included a presentation on artificial intelligence from a philosophical perspective. The topic was presented by Kristupas Sabolius, Professor of Philosophy. The professor's presentation was a great introduction and addition to the presentation of the TrainDL project and helped to improve the understanding of artificial intelligence among teachers.
