Fredrik Heintz

Fredrik Heintz is a professor and AI researcher in the Department of Computer and Information Science (IDA) at Linköping University, Sweden, where he leads the Reasoning and Learning Lab. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, in particular autonomous systems, Trustworthy AI, stream reasoning, and the intersection of knowledge representation and machine learning. In addition to research, he is Director of the Graduate School for the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), President of the Swedish AI Society, Coordinator of the TAILOR ICT-48 Network, member of the European Commission’s 
High Level Expert Group on AI, and fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering (IVA).
