TrainDL at the INFORMATIK2021
27. September - 01. October 2021 in Berlin & Online INFORMATIK is the official annual conference of the German Informatics Society, the largest association of computer scientists in the German-speaking world and is held annually at changing locations. In 2021, the INFORMATIK will take place from 27.09. to 01.10.2021 Online and in Berlin, all under the sign of sustainability.
Description
Topics such as green IT, resource conservation, the use of smart technologies and the optimization of systems dominate the discussion on how sustainable informatics is and where it can provide assistance. At INFORMATIK 2021, we bring together discussion partners from science, politics and business, shed light on social and political contexts and seek dialog with all interested parties. INFORMATIK 2021 addresses the following four fields of action of informatics: ecological, economic, social and technological. The 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations are the guiding principles.
We are pleased to announce that a representative of the Train-DL project will also be attending this year's annual conference:
Ms. Victoriya Olari from the Department of Computer Science Didactics (FU Berlin) and consortium member for TrainDL will speak in the panel discussion "Digital Education in Europe" about current and future challenges of Digital Education in Europe. The panelists will address the question of which projects and processes are already being shaped by the EU and will discuss the Digital Education Action Plan in this context. The question of the active participation of EU member states will also be addressed: What concrete scope for design exists and what is prescribed by the EU?
