The Centre for School Quality and Teacher Education (ZSL) provides the framework for a science-based, centrally controlled and quality-oriented initial, in-service and continuing education system for general and vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg. Initial and in-service teacher training are systematically linked and thus strengthened. The ZSL is established as a higher state authority in Baden-Württemberg.
