Vilnius University (VU) embodies the integrity of education and research in Lithuania. VU has 12 faculties, 7 institutes, 4 study and research centres. With its large scientific focus in STEM-related disciplines, VU specifically seeks and expands cooperation with the country's education system by implementing research and innovative teaching and learning methods in schools.

The VU will conduct research and experiments for primary education and also contribute to the experiment cluster of work package 2. The researchers will collect, structure and analyse the qualitative and quantitative information gathered through the experiment cluster. The VU will also contribute to the interpretation of the results in cooperation with work package 1 "Policy Building" and share recommendations on the possible follow-up for work package 4. The VU will lead work package 3 "Primary Education".
