Teaching data and AI skills – to teachers and learners

Young people constantly encounter digital technologies in their everyday lives. Therefore, they should learn how to both critically evaluate and effectively use them. So how can teachers be supported in preparing new generations for the digital world?

Together with partners from Germany, Austria and Lithuania, the TrainDL project "Teacher Training for Data Literacy & Computer Science Competences" aims to develop educational concepts for data literacy and artificial intelligence competencies and embed them in teacher and school education. The project is funded by the European Union in the Erasmus+ program.

Everything dedicated to: AI, data und competencies

At the closing of the project, we cordially invite all those interested to the „TrainDL Summit: Teaching Data Literacy and AI Competencies“ on February 22 and 23, 2024, in Berlin.

"Contacts like these are usually difficult to establish in everyday working life."

As a consultant at the Berlin-Brandenburg State Institute for Schools and Media, Cornelia Brückner is part of the TrainDL consortium. In this interview she talks about the perspective of a public authority on the project, the importance of international exchange and personal highlights.
